Woody Creek, Colorado Studio Visit with Ceramic Artist Michael Wisner

Inspired by ancient Anasazi and Mimbres potsherds, Michael Wisner began making southwestern pottery 25 years ago. Wisner’s ceramic works are made entirely from “scratch,” hand-digging and cleaning clay from the ground near his studio in Woody Creek, CO, hand-coiling the forms, and hand-pressing patterns of sacred geometry into the leather-hard clay before firing. Watch Wisner explain his process and passion during this studio visit with Ann Korologos Gallery.
