ANN KOROLOGOS GALLERY NAMES DIRECTOR

BASALT, CO (October 4, 2019)    Ann Korologos Gallery is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne (Sue) Edmonds to the post of Director.  A long-time resident of the Roaring Fork Valley and an entrepreneur with expertise in fine art and design, Edmonds most recently owned and managed the Melange Collection, an Aspen-based company offering handcrafted gifts and home accessories.

“We are delighted that our search for a seasoned leader brought us to Sue,” shares Ann Korologos. “She has an impressive track record navigating online marketplaces and running her own business, and she really knows and loves our valley.  Equally important is her experience with discovering, developing and marketing artists and their art.  We look forward to introducing Sue to our talented roster of artists as well as to our clients and the Basalt community when she assumes her role as Director in early November.”

Edmonds is a native of Australia.  She is well-traveled and her passion for art has fueled her discoveries of numerous artisans and techniques around the world. Locally, she has honed her eye and broadened her interests by taking several printmaking and photography courses at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass.  Edmonds elaborated,“Whether I am creating art, viewing art, selling art or having insightful conversations with artists to learn more about their processes, I love each and every experience. I am definitely excited to join the Ann Korologos Gallery team and immerse myself in the world of contemporary western art.”

Edmonds lives in Aspen with her husband, David Clark and Welsh Terrier, Georgie.
