Local artist, Dan Young, has been selected to be featured in the Maynard Dixon Country Art Show, September 5-7, in Mt. Carmel, Utah. Maynard Dixon Country is a unique art show and sale benefiting the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts, a nonprofit organization that preserves Maynard Dixon’s home and studio. Each year, 32 of America’s most well-respected and emerging artists are invited to this gathering, with an art show, gala, awards ceremony, and art symposium. Patrons and collectors are given a rare opportunity to experience Dixon’s west, and interact with and purchase paintings by some of today’s most sought-after contemporary artists.
Dan Young will also be featured in our upcoming landscape exhibition, on view September 10. For more information about the Maynard Dixon Show, click here.
One of the best Western Art shows in the nation, the annual Eiteljorg Museum’s Quest for the West Art Show and Sale will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana September 5th through October 5th. We are excited to share that we have three artists that have been invited to be in this prestigious exhibition. Veryl Goodnight, Nathan Solano, and Roseta Santiago are all featured artists this year.
