Ann Korologos Gallery presents Interpretations a group exhibition exploring changes in nature, light, and the world around us, on view March 31 to May 1, 2023.
“Interpretations is exactly that: an invitation to the viewer to see the world through the interpretation of more than forty painters, printmakers, mixed media artists, sculptors and photographers represented by Ann Korologos Gallery,” shares gallery director, Sue Edmonds. “Feel the beauty of change as you step through the seasons of nature, culture, and time explored in the styles, mediums, and perspectives of each artist.”
Viewers are invited to witness the light upon the magnificent landscapes of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming captured within the paintings of Heather Foster, Kate Starling, Rick Stevens, Sean Wallis, Dinah Worman, Simon Winegar, and Dan Young. Notice the details that catch the eye and cause a moment of pause in the observations of Sarah Lamb, Katie DeGroot, Andy Taylor and Sherrie York. Explore the portraits and changes of the culture and times in the paintings, etchings, sculptures and mixed media work of Tomas Lasansky, Terry Gardner, Donna Howell-Sickles, Joel Ostlind and Lloyd Schermer. View the soft light and change of season witnessed by Cap Pannell, Deborah Paris, Brett Scheifflee, Sabrina Stiles, and Marie Figge Wise.
Interpretations is on view March 31 to May 1, 2023, and may be viewed at 211 Midland Avenue in historic downtown Basalt Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and virtually at korologosgallery.com. For more information please call (970) 927-9668 or email art@korologosgallery.com
