Just in time for spring, the fresh and sun-drenched art of Angus Wilson is a treat for the senses after a long winter. Wilson’s acrylic paintings are filled with vibrant color and with life – flowers, fruits and trees. The bright blocks of color and outlined forms are reminiscent of Tolouse Lautrec and Vincent Van Gogh, creating strong compositions that pack an emotional punch. The division of many of his canvases into areas of slightly shifted perspective add an element of cubism to paintings that also provoke thought.

Playful and uplifting, Wilson’s works reflect his former engagement in a variety of disciplines – photography, film and animation. The perspectives from each pursuit have blended into his rich, multi-dimensional approach to painting.

Angus Wilson’s paintings are well collected worldwide by museums, corporations and individuals.
