Gallery Manager, Caroline Amelia Iles
Caroline Amelia Iles grew up in a small farming community in the middle of Missouri, surrounded by rolling hills, a supportive community and a deep appreciation of the land. She relocated to the RFV in 2015 and found many of the same Missouri sensibilities, much to her delight.
Caroline earned her BFA from the University of Missouri with an emphasis in photography and a minor in Art History. She also completed a studio intensive semester abroad at the Burren College of Art on the west coast of Ireland. Coming to the gallery as an intern, Caroline worked her way to her current position as Gallery Manager. She is responsible for daily gallery operations and administrative matters, as well as working with clients and artists. Caroline loves exhibition planning and installation and the ever-changing art world.
When she’s not conquering all things “gallery,” she pursues her dual passions for the outdoors and the arts, thrilled that there are so many opportunities for both. She especially enjoys hiking with her four-footed companion “Snacks” and discovering her new environs.
Director of Client Relations, Amy Maron
The Gallery welcomed Amy Maron as Director of Client Relations in March 2017. While she may be a new face to some, her background is rich in client service experience and art. Amy has developed her fine eye and extraordinary people skills over many years as an assistant in architectural firms and in fashion retailing. The Oklahoma native has called the Roaring Fork Valley home for four decades. She is passionate about the area’s natural beauty and spends as much time outdoors as possible. Always interested in art, Amy has made a habit of cultivating relationships with many of Colorado’s finest painters, sculptors, and photographers. She loves digging in to an artist’s background, and understanding his/her inspiration and process. It’s all part of a fascinating journey for her. Along the way, she has built her own collection of works that resonate with her personally.
Amy applies the same investigative approach to her gallery role, whether she’s getting to know a new artist or beginning to work with a new client. Her thoroughness ensures that she understands the artists and works and knows how to find the perfect work of art for any client.
In addition to her very active lifestyle, Amy finds time to knit, bake, and host wonderful dinners for friends and family. She shares her leisure hours with her partner, Bob, and the adorable Hattie, a very rambunctious black Labrador. Both make regular guest appearances at the Ann Korologos Gallery
