Biography
California native, Ann White, has a unique style that has won her great acclaim. She has had numerous museum shows including The Oakland Museum in Oakland, California, The Morris Graves Museum in Eureka, California, and the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, California. Ann’s paintings are reminiscent of the primitive and naïve styles, but are deeply layered creating a rich surface. The subjects are scenes she sees often in rural northern California. Her paintings are at once playful and contemplative. The longer one looks the more is revealed, and the more appealing they become.
